Flaherty's passion for motorcycles took a tragic turn on June 24.
The 2005 Ed White High School graduate crashed and died, leaving a family
and large circle of friends mourning.
Flaherty was riding a 2003 Suzuki GSXR 750 on Argyle Forest
Boulevard at 12:15 a.m. June 24 when he lost control of his motorcycle,
the Florida Highway Patrol said. He struck a concrete curb then fell off
the bike. 19-year-old James was wearing a helmet at the time of the
accident.
